Tell us what you are planning

Give us the number of nights, the month, and what interests you — thermal water, wine, architecture, hiking, food — and we will point you to the routes in our archive that fit, including the ones we would quietly avoid.

We also want to hear when something in a guide has changed. Ticket prices, bath opening hours, bus 880's weekend frequency and cellar closures all move faster than our publishing schedule. Corrections are credited in the update line at the foot of each guide.

  • Trip planning: we answer questions, but we do not sell tours, hotels or transfers.
  • Corrections: include the page name and, if possible, a link or photo of the current price or timetable.
  • Press and syndication: ask for the editorial desk; we license text and original photography.
  • Advertising: we do not accept paid placements, affiliate hotel widgets or sponsored guides.

Contact FAQ

Will you plan my whole trip for me?
Not as a service. We will happily tell you which of our itineraries suits your dates, what to cut if you have fewer days, and whether a route is realistic by train. Detailed day-by-day planning for individuals is beyond a two-person desk.
Can you recommend a specific hotel?
We recommend districts rather than properties, because hotel quality changes hands faster than we can verify it. The Budapest guide explains what each central district is like at night, which is usually the decision that matters.
I found a price that has changed. Do you want to know?
Very much. Bath tickets, Parliament tours and MÁV fares shift several times a year. Send the page name and the current figure and we will verify and update, normally within a week.
Do you accept guest posts or link exchanges?
No. We do not publish guest articles, sponsored content or paid links, and unsolicited pitches of that kind are deleted unread.
Can I use your photographs or text?
Not without written permission. Short quotations with a visible link are fine. For licensing, write to the desk with the intended use, territory and duration.
